We are pleased to confirm that the West Sussex Emergency Heater Scheme will continue to run this winter.

If you have no working heating system, then the West Sussex Fuel Poverty Coordinator is offering one oil-filled electric radiator per fuel poor household to help keep warm and well.  The heater is only a stopgap until your heating system is fixed or replaced.

How can I get a heater?

Referrals can only be accepted from a professional frontline worker or a volunteer working at an appropriate charity.

If you meet the eligibility criteria your worker will need to fully complete and return the referral form.  The form is available from the West Sussex Affordable Energy website.

Within 3-5 days, delivery will be arranged and made by Dial-A-Hubby, who will also collect the £1 payment per heater from you.
